To remove the door from the frame; open the door, pull to release the FastFit Hinge System and lift out the door.
Place the frame into the aperture ensuring the aperture is 7mm larger than the panel size. Mark the position of the hinge and door retaining pins located towards the hinge side.
Remove the frame and drill clearance holes for Spring Pin hinge and door retaining pins, as previously marked. Fill door frame Jamb with mineral wool infill (site supplied)
Fix the frame into the aperture using all the fixing holes. Ensure frame is square by measuring diagonally and flush to the wall. If fire, acoustic or airtight rated apply intumescent acrylic mastic on the rear of the frame jamb prior to installing the frame.
Refit the door, place the lower Spring Pin hinge system into its location. Slide the top pin along inside the frame until the hinge system locates fully then close the door. If fire, acoustic or airtight rated apply intumescent acrylic mastic to the rear of the frame, nominally 5mm wide sealing to the supporting construction.
Lock the door in place with key provided and ensure the door is flush when closed. For a beaded frame panel, apply skrim tape prior to plastering.
